Humans have been creating artworks and everyday objects from clay for thousands of years. Ceramic objects reveal secrets that still move us today. With their commitment to the museum, members of the promotional association promote an important regional tradition, while supporting contemporary ceramists as well.

The Förderkreis Keramikmuseum Staufen was founded in 1994 with the goal of creating a lively and attractive place for artists to meet in the museum, alongside friends and collectors of modern ceramics. The ceramic vessel is always at the center of the discurs.

Since that time, well over 200 artists and ceramists, primarily from Germany, France and Switzerland, have been able to use the Ceramic Museum's STUDIO as an exhibition space to present their newest works.

The Förderkreis Keramikmuseum Staufen e.V. organizes up to six exhibitions in the museum’s STUDIO every year.
