Conference Documentation & Best Paper Award
The tenth edition of the international conference of the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) ArtsIT took place in 2021 in the UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts Karlsruhe as an online conference, organised by the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and the Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe.

A diverse programme of 31 international contributions addressed questions of theory and reflection, media art and virtual reality, the topic of digital games as well as questions of participation and inclusion with a special session on artificial intelligence.

The keynote address "The Computable and the Uncomputable" by the scientist and programmer Prof. Alexander R. Galloway, New York University, USA, combined historical dimensions of digitality with future scenarios of artificial intelligence.
The Best Paper Award was presented to: Schaffer, Stefan (DFKI); Ruß, Aaron (DFKI); Lee Sasse, Mino (DFKI); Schubotz, Louise (Linon Medien); Gustke, Oliver (Linon Medien)
